Kyle hails from Verona, Wisconsin. He attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison for his BS in Biochemistry and Biology. He earned his PhD in Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University working with Dr. Daniel O’Connor on the neuromechanical encoding principles of whisker touch and self-motion. He started his postdoctoral training in the Wang lab in 2019 and has since focused on developing tools to track body posture and using these tracking techniques to study how postural features are encoded in the brain.
