Wang Lab
We study the neural circuit mechanisms of sensorimotor behaviors, pain, and addiction
Diversity Statement
We care about the well-being of all members of our lab. Everyone in the lab - past, present and future - is treated equally, irrespective of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, citizenship, disabilities, political views, family status, and sexual orientation. We are all just human beings who come together to pursue a shared interest in science. If you are interested in joining our collaborative and supportive scientific community, please contact us!
Our Research
Our research focuses on the neural circuits of pain sensation, orofacial/sensorimotor activities, and addiction. To investigate these areas of interest, we utilize a wide range of techniques – including genetic and viral manipulations, electrophysiology, and in vivo imaging.
