Kayla Kroning

Postdoctoral Fellow

Kayla grew up in upstate New York, at the foot of the Catskill Mountains. She completed her PhD in Chemistry at the University of Michigan, where she designed genetically encoded tools to detect GPCR agonists in the mouse brain. Currently, as a joint postdoctoral fellow in the Boyden and Wang labs, she is focused on engineering tools for synapse tracing.
