Miaomiao grew up in China and joined the Wang Lab after she earned a neurobiology PhD degree at Duke University. She is currently interested in investigating the role of midline thalamic nuclei groups in pain perception. Outside of the lab, she is fascinated about plants, fungi and minerals. She also enjoys painting, watching anime and snacking.
